you're too theking kind.
although tbh i love receiving compliments, i'm so theking vain, so truly thanks :)

there's certainly plenty of interplatformtextualizing going on:

eick, from his commentary to bulldog's episode:
"[doing a one-off] gave me the opportunity to do what it is i do best, which is rip things off and steal mercilessly and shamelessly from movies i love, apocalypse now being one of them ... [the script here was] actually 'no distress signal had been sent', which is a lift from jaws. you'll find that there's absolutely nothing original in any of my work. it's all, literally, cribbed together from various speeches and lines of dialogue from about a thousand different movies. and if you were to go back and excise every reference point there would literally be no words left. there would be nothing left to shoot. and, uh, i would be sued."

:D *insert obligatory ts eliot quote*

From the BSG Wiki (http://en.battlestarwiki.org/wiki/Katee_Sackhoff):

she has a crucifix tattoo on her left shoulder blade. As Christianity is not practiced in the Battlestar Galactica universe, it is covered up in the show by bandages in scenes when her skin is exposed (her scene with Anders at the beginning of "The Farm", for example). Since "Unfinished Business" it has been inked over with a large stepped pyramid.
