detroithenge

you may have heard of the phenomenon of manhattanhenge.


this is my photo of an approximation of detroithenge, with the sun setting directly between the scrapers lining michigan avenue. i'll try to come down off my balcony & take a better street level pic next time. and lower in the sky too.


the autumnal equinox is tomorrow morning and summer's exiting stage west.
