when i was at a restaurant for breakfast in chicago sunday morning (the 6th) i passed a table whose presently absent occupant had left the copy of a collection of pirandello works in the italian he or she had borrowed from the univeristy of illinois - chicago library. i meant to get a look at the borrower, but when i looked again a short time later, the book and various apparel on the chair were gone. i've got to read six characters in search of an author so i can return it to the library but i have managed not to for some time. kinda like i've managed not to post anything substantive for some time.
