i left bythos running in the other room when i went to bed last night. i don't usually sleep to music -- too distracting. but it was only just loud enough to make out the songs if i listened closely. i slightly-woke during the night and heard the tail end of hey jude followed immediately by sigur rós' staralfur. both songs are about seven minutes long. the former was a key song in wes anderson's the royal tenenbaums, which immediately preceded in anderson's ouevre the life aquatic with steve zissou, in which the latter song appears.


i had fallen back to sleep but not longer after that bythos played collective soul's december. such a show-off.


the snow is flying now, though it's supposed to end before ten and not return until the eleventh.
