i love that he uses phrases like "couldn't write his way out of a paper bag."

and the book. where have i been all these years?

It's a bit of a sequel to his similarly long, similarly bold Hamlet section in Invention of the Human if you haven't picked up that one.

based on what he said in the interview i felt like i could postpone the first until after the second but i'll be looking at acquiring both
