contrariety

my friends had already seen the town so i was forced to watch the social network. a little bit of boston, too, but generally just incredibly boring. eisenberg's a fine actor, but nothing really happens. i'm forgetting all the terms of art for the extent to which a piece is documentary or dramatized, but this was lacking drama. i'm probably just jealous because i'm not in the santayana club.

Interesting. Everybody else has raved about it. 97 on metacritic. But the previews don't make me want to see it. It *looks* boring. So I wonder why the critics like it.

Did you happen to see J Timberlake on Jimmy Fallon doing the history of rap? I was amazed Jimmy was able to keep up with him. It was great.
